Newly opened bloom from seedling. Seedling was germinated in August, and planted in ground Novermber, 2002. Here it is 12-10-02 with it's first bloom. This bloom became very pink along the edges as it aged.
Double pink 6 in flowers, blooms all through fall. Can reach hights of 15-20 ft.

The white opens white the first day then as it ages it starts turning pink making different colored flowers on the same tree.
Confederate Rose hibiscus has a double white or pink bloom (the 'Rubra' bloom is red) which gradually turns to red as it ages (note the closed bloom). If your hibiscus bloom is not a double, the plant is not a Confederate Rose hibiscus. (San Antonio, Tx.)
