Rodrigues palm cousin of pseudophoenix lediniana at least it ressembles much in shape
Left to right, ripe fruits, peeled and dry seeds , sprouting and germinated stage with a very soft pinkish "petiole"
this one is believed to a sub-species (dwarfed one), it does not grow that tall and a slow grower, or could it be just a young spindle palm
seedling in southern CA showing typical color of plant that age

living in an extremely low water situation, southern California, Ventura county, not too far from the coast.
Picked 6 fruits while in Mauritsius, germinated it (1 month) back home in Sweden. All 6 are doing fine potted. Now 2 years old.
