"'Lord Lieutenant' variety. Realizing that computer monitor settings will determine the nuance of color seen by the viewer, I'm changing my statement from "This is actual color" to "The color shown in the photo has not been altered in any way". When viewed in bright sunshine (as in the photo), the main color of the flower is "indigo bunting" with overtones of purple/black on some outer petals.
