Definition of yard waste

Categorized under "General"

Definition as written by Greenwood:

An unusable or unwanted substance of organic garden or yard material

Definition as written by Zanymuse:

Any organic matter from the garden or yard that is not composted is waste. If you compost you will still have waste in the form of deseased matter that should not be composted but the amount of waste will be greatly reduced and you will save money by paying less in refuse fees, prevent our landfills from being filled so rapidly and have a great source of nutrients for your garden.
