Definition of solar-heated plant teepee

Categorized under "General"

Definition as written by Terry:

Also known as wall o-water - a plastic baffle circular structure used to extend the growing season by protecting tender young transplants such as tomatoes from late frosts.

The individual baffles are filled with water, thus providing solar protection when night-time temperatures fall. It can be removed as soon as the threat of frost is past, and/or the plant outgrows it.
