Definition of degradable pot

Categorized under "General"

Definition as written by talinum:

A pot made from degradable material such as compressed peat or paper. The whole pot is planted in the soil and the roots will grow through the sides and bottom of the pot. Sometimes peat pots need to cut or torn when planting to help the roots grow into the soil. This type of pot works very well for plants that are hard to transplant.
