Angiosperm are plants that flower and form fruits with seeds. Seeds are enclosed in a dry or fleshy fruit that develops from the ovary within the flower. Class Angiosperm has two subclasses - monocot and dicot, which differ in the number of cotyledon (seed leaf.) See gymnosperm.
