Definition as written by Monocromatico:

Short for "Brassolaeliocattleya", and intergeneric hybrid orchid involving, as parents, the genera Brassavola, Laelia and Cattleya. Hundreds or new Blcīs are obtained every year by crossing several species and their hybrids with each other. These hybrids are usually much stronger, drought resistant, and light tolerant than their parentals.

On the following picture, Blc "Turanbeat".
