Definition as written by darylmitchell:

Substantial and intricate deposits of ice crystals on the surface of objects exposed to temperatures below freezing. Most commonly occurs when a humid air mass, such as ground level fog, moves through an area of freezing temperatures. The water vapour in the air then freezes to the surfaces of objects such as tree branches, metal fences and utility lines.

Definition as written by GardenGuyKin:

A deposit of interlocking ice crystals.
