Ramblers are once-blooming roses and typically produce a profusion of small flowers in large trusses, or clusters, in summer.
A Rambler is like a climbing rose but with very supple canes that grow from the base of the plant each year and produce laterals that bear large clusters of small flowers.
The basic difference between a climber and a rambler is that climbers are bred to grow upwards, Ramblers... ramble.
Ramblers can be trained to climb but left to to grow free they will ramble in all directions and can be used to tumble over banks, along property lines, tree stumps, and so on.
