Definition of interbay mulching

Categorized under "General"

Definition as written by Terry:

A composting method that is similar to no-dig gardening or lasagna composting or sheet composting

Interbay (sometimes called IBM) combines composting with mulching, and the layers of greens and browns are layered directly on the bed, then covered with burlap in order to hold in the heat and moisture while the decomposition takes place.
