A gas or electric powered tool used to blow leaves or grass clippings into a pile for easy removal from the garden.
Some models have a feature allowing the blower to be reversed, which can pull leaves into a shredder and an attached bag. The shredder can typically shred the equivalent of ten bags of leaves into the size of a single leaf bag - the shredded leaves are easier to compost because of their size and the amount of surface area exposed for decomposition.
