Definition of leggy

Categorized under "General"

Definition as written by Linnea:

The term for a seedling that has grown more stem than leaf. Usually caused by lack of light

Definition as written by sanity101:

also refers to shrubs or bushes with long, often somewhat \'floppy\' branches without much branching. Lack of light can exacerbate the problem, but many times it is caused by the natural habit of the plant. Attentive pruning can control it to some extent.
