The scoop on 'Pic-a-Lily Gardens'

I discovered this nursery over 10 years ago, the health and selection of plants is only exceeded by the enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and passionate/patient owner.I didn't know anything in particular about daylillies until I discoverd these folks,and actually dislked the daylillies I had seen in catalogs and plantings because of their muddy hues and rather uninteresting forms. Pic-A-Lily opened my eyes to the great hybrid colors, cool unusual forms and even fragrant selections. Right now my garden is bursting with color from their daylillies.Because of the wide variety the show will continu until winter,and beyond, Whenever I can squeeze in a new planting, I try to visit. Going to, and browsing their beautiful garden is a great trip. It is a family run, not corporate business and it feels like family when you go (even the first time! They deserve the business, and I could not give a higher recommendation to anyone (and I do belong to numerous hort. societies)So go, discover, adopt a plant or 5. You will be hooked too! (They also do mail order!)
