These are the plants I bought at the annual 25-cent perennial sale at deMonye's Greenhouse in Columbus. They're sold in 4-packs as seedlings, but how can you beat a price like that? I've had such good success with their plants. It's a great way to try new varieties, plus a way to stock up on your perennial favorites. :)

The place is surrounded by a high fence complete with barbed wire...It's like a stockade, but full of lucious plants. :)

deMonye's is right near Port Columbus International Airport, so it's sooo much fun getting to in traffic. Ugh - but it was worth it. :)

You can see some of the hi-rises in the background. These weren't the 25-cent plants, but it was handy to see the larger plants to see what the seedlings we were buying would look like later.

I left the porta-potty in the background so you could get an idea of how big an area this covers. These are some of deMonye's 4" and quart-sized perennials. What a patchwork quilt, huh? Their plants are awesome. :)
