I grow and hybridize many cannas and brugmansias. I like growing species cannas. I also tinker in hybridizing corn and other crop plants. And Ilike helping my youngest Daughter with her 200 varieties of heirloom tomatoes. I grow a large butterfly and hummingbird garden, a large herb and lavender garden, and a cutting and dried flower garden. And I like rare and variegated plants. Our farm practices sustainable agriculture and we extra to share with our local needy. We participate in community wildlife habitat, in partnership with Pheasants Forever, and also participate in National Wildlife Federation's backyard program. I love photographing, and I love to write.
