"After a VERY long silence, I'm finally moved into my new home in south Texas. I've really missed gardening this past year and missed all of you! I'm so happy to be getting back into the swing of things and gardening and trading and planning, etc.!
I started gardening in the Spring of 2002 and fell in love with it immediately. My seed collection grew quickly and so did my number of friends!
When I want to relax, I go to my garden. In my last home, I had successfully transformed a rectangular, lifeless, boring plot of land that was once a dog run into a charming, life-filled place of joy and wonder. I loved my garden, and I get sad when I think about all that I had to leave there.
I've gone through a very long and nasty, bitter divorce with child custody issues.. OMG! And I lost my mother last May (2005). I'm finally moving on with my life and with an old childhood friend. We live on 5+ acres in south Texas and I just LOVE it! His mother lives with us and loves to garden too. Together we are transforming this beautiful wooded acreage into a lush garden retreat for all of us.
