"I live on 5 acres in SW North Dakota. We have 5 kids, 1 cat that's mostly an outdoor cat but comes in the basement at night, (Weevil), 2 kittens we adopted in November of 2006 and are strictly house cats, (Elmer and Fred), our daughter's Pomeranian puppy that lives with us, (Chubz), 1 rabbit, (Butch), and an angel kitty, (Bummy), that will always mean the world to me. Bummy was my true soul mate, and he passed away October 30, 2006.
I started actively flower gardening/collecting in 2001. I veggie gardened for years to feed the troops, but as the kids are getting older, I find I can cut down on the veggies and grow more flowers and other types of plants.
