"I am a 53 y/o, married for the second time, clinical psychologist for the Vets Admin in, or now in the semi-rural metro area for New Orleans. We still are in tents but we are where the need is. My interests include systematics and cladistics, pteridophytes, and now, native plant gardening, esp using natives for wildlife, native community restoration, and looking good. I also am interested in learning more about the neurophysiology of my adult-onset, idiopathic spinocerebellar ataxia. At my job site, I am trying to figure out how to get to a species of rush that is new to me in the ditch that separates us from an old pasture. The rushes will have to be removed soon by the parish (county) anyway to keep the channel clear. I am as active as I can be in the Folsom Native Plant Society and plant rescues. "
