But now that the calendar has turned its page to another year, I can't hardly wait for the gardening season to gear up: I'll be outside daily, checking for the daffs and tulips to start poking up their leaves, and when they do I'll know spring is right around the corner. I've got schemes to make my veggie beds even more organic and productive this summer, some new varieties to try out, and I'm challenging myself to see just how many annuals I can squeeze in among the perennials, for cut flower arrangements all summer long."
