(5 yrs!) I got married and moved close to the ocean. Some of my plants died, and some became monsters and took over the yard! Soon after I moved down my new husband was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He is now back up and able to work, and drag race.I help care for his 20 Chihuahuas, and tried my hand at showing them but found I was better at web design, caring and nurturing them and finding good people for them to live with who could show them or not. I work at UNCW full time, and am a full time student taking creative writing. I plan to write about digging in the dirt! Caring for a spouse with semi permenant brain damage (who manages to drag race!). Raising a son with Aspergers who is now at Guilford College. Now I FINALLY have time to return to the garden/jungle. After trying to find someone to give over 100 plants to, I decided I needed to find a group of people who I could share ideas/plants/pictures and the joy of gardening with, and so I am coming home to Dave's Garden.
