  A note from trifunov:
"I have the challenge of creating my own yard from scratch in Jackson, Mississippi. Our new house is due to be completed in Summer 2004. Previously my gardening has consisted entirely of containers on my apartment patio, mostly in South Africa, so everything is new and exciting!"

"My favorite fragrant roses, planted around the front door, including Just Joey (peach - doesn't show up too good here) and Mr Lincoln (red). Also there is Hot Cocoa in the foreground, Midas Touch (yellow) and Fragrant plum (mauve). Some daylilies and zinnias sort of fill the bed up. It still looks kind of new. They were planted bare-root, into pots, in spring, then transplanted into the ground in mid-summer this year. "
