Although this plant is listed as zone9...I've had it grow in my Zone6 garden. It sprouted up on its own and flowered in it's second year. After it flowered a while I pulled it out(it was growing at the very front of my border) cause it looked ridiculous where it was and to me looked rather weedy.
It's also sticky and grew to around 4 feet tall.
