RHS AGM 1993. Clump-forming semi-evergreen perennial to 70cm tall, with narrow foliage and erect racemes or panicles of bell-shaped, white-throated, pale pink flowers 2.5cm long. It is listed as quite hardy in my region if planted on a sunny well drained spot.
