Sarcococca ruscifolia grows very easily in the Pacific NW, and is a great shade plant for our cool, moist climate. In Jan/Feb it produces tiny flowers which would go unnoticed except for their magnificent, sweet, penetrating fragrance. You can smell them from yards away. A real gift to the garden ....
