Carnival Squash - Cream colored with orange spots or pale green with dark green spots in vertical stripes - coloration sometimes divided part and part . Carnival Squash have hard, thick skins and only the golden flesh is eaten.

I've not actually grown this squash, but I have eaten it and it is supurb!

A lovely decorative squash that you will actually enjoy eating. They can be cooked like the traditional Acorn types (split and baked with butter and brown sugar, or rosted with onions, ginger and black pepper.

It keeps well and seems to develop a richer flavor with age.
