Great reference. Photographs beautiful enough for a coffee table book, yet extremely informative and useful unlike a typical coffee table book. Plus if you can talk directly to the author. Guy haunts the Trees and Shrubs forum now that he's made the migration to DG.
Phenomenal photgraphs! Spectacular Text with a bit of humor here and there which is unheard of in a publication of this caliber. Timber Press, as usual, publishes the best of the best. You will not be disappointed.
Another wonderful book by the authors, Guy Sternberg and Jim Wilson (of Victory Garden Fame).
This is a great book that lists some of the best native trees that can be grown in our landscapes. Loads of color pictures and personal commentary on the trees and their characteristics. This book is almost 2" thick, and has 552 pages, and the material contained in this book will provide many hours of great reading.
This book is a must-have and should be in every tree lover's library.
