I have had this book for years, one of the first books I aquired. Very helpful, orgainized and sets you off on the right path. Not too in depth but for the beginner it helps.
This book has been absolutely INVALUABLE to me over the past 8 years! It is the first book I go to when I need information about ANYTHING! It has advice for everything from starting seeds, transplanting, dividing, pruning fruit trees, mulching, other weed control, edible flowers, potting mixes, garden furniture, about any disease that could affect a plant or tree, as well as a month by month guide for what you should be doing for your plants that particular month for your particular climate.
It includes just about ANYTHING any gardener would have a question about. I just can't recommend it enough.
