It has advice for everything from starting seeds, transplanting, dividing, pruning fruit trees, mulching, other weed control, edible flowers, potting mixes, garden furniture, about any disease that could affect a plant or tree, as well as a month by month guide for what you should be doing for your plants that particular month for your particular climate.
It includes just about ANYTHING any gardener would have a question about. I just can't recommend it enough.
Just thumbing through, a few how to's include:
What flowers make the best Potpourri
The Best Power Tools for Gardeners
Protecting plants from the elements
Hanging Salads, plant a hanging basket with a ready made salad right outside the kitchen door.
Evaluating Soil
Water Barrels
Water Plants
Ornamental Grasses
Moss, blessing or curse?
Fences
Compost
Colors, enjoying garden color year round.
As you can see, it's very diverse and it's just chock full of photos and diagrams. You just can't go wrong with this book!
