The photographs in this book are great- good overall book that introduces the reader to most succulent genera (not all, of course). There is so much care and emphasis taken in making the photographs look great that is hard to resist getting more excited about having them in your collection. Though not the most useful book in terms of information, what information in it seems up to date and accurate. However, it is one of the best illustrated books on the subject (note: a few species are misidentified, but have yet to see a large group of photographed plants where at least some weren't properly labeled). I highly recommend it for any one as a gift book as well as a great book to thumb through for garden ideas.
