From former Victory Garden host Jim Wilson comes a book that gives relief to gardeners contending with the extremes of the Southern climate. Featuring more than a hundred heat- and humidity-resistant blooms, Bulletproof Flowers for the South provides a wealth of beautiful garden color to be enjoyed all summer long.
I was a little disappointed with this book; I was expecting it to focus on lesser-known plants native to the South, or at least offer more interesting suggestions than Marigolds. (Mind you, I have nothing against Marigolds, but it wasn't a revelation to learn they will do well in our climate.)
