This is a great resource containing line drawings, photos and detailed planting instructions for various summer bulbs, tubers and rhizomes such as cannas, dahlias, begonias, etc. plus some rarer varieties. One thing I especially liked is that it has chapter displaying the general characteristics including line drawings of various bulbs, tubers and rhizomes showing you what direction is considered up and down. Also included is a chapter on the Hippeastrum (Amaryllis) and how to properly store it and get it to rebloom the next season. Unfortunately this book is out of print so you'll need to buy it from one of the discount or second hand book sellers.
