If you are a collector, write a critical blog about gardening, propagate and plant, Tropical Ornamentals: A Guide, will be your #1 reference and you may need no other book on the subject.
This book covers the most important plants, trees, bushes, ground
covers and vines and the region of their origin. It is a great tool for the wise designed garden, and botanical inventory at home. Impressive photos
(over 400), great cross references and bibliography. Over 600 hundred pages of excellent paper, nice friendly font to the eyes.
If you are an horticultural creative critic as yours truly, or one of those demanding gardeners never complacent with your plant collection, with an urge to identify with botanical names, what you know and do not know.
You should buy it new or used. Read and check out
the best book on the subject if you live in the TROPICS as
I do or collect in those places were four seasons are the rule.
