I have this book and have read and re-read it from cover to cover. I found it very well written and the pictures are wonderful. The information about Mermaid, a rose I wanted for my garden was timely for me and prevented me from trying to grow a rose that would have been way to large for my small garden and would also have been more trouble than I was willing to take to keep it in bounds. The recipes using rose hips were good and easy to use. I still find myself turning to this book everytime I add a new rose to my garden. Since I use no sprays and enjoy a garden filled with birds, toads and other critters, this book has become my best friend. I feel that Liz Druitt is truly in love with her subject.
