Excellent up-close pictures as well as text describing insects from egg stage to larva to adult.

The written word on each entry covers where the particular insect lives (range), life cycle, similar-looking insects and their feeding habits.

Should you find a need to get rid of a particular pest this book also gives suggestions for "safe for the environment" natural controls (in other words there is no need to bring out the bazooka chemicals that are so often relied on by many).
