There are a huge number of books available on Wild Flowers, this one is for the UK and Republic of Ireland, few are as easy to read as this.

It's full of quick reference keys on the basics and good basic notes on each plant. It's not a huge tome so you might say it's not totally comprehensive on our native and naturalised flora, and to be honest it's not easy to put in a bag and carry around on your botanising hikes but it's not another coffee table book of glossy pics either.

If you're looking to find out more about GB and Ireland's plants you won't go far wrong starting with this one.
