Another great book by Don Hodel.. covers all the palms of the unique though small island off the coast of Australia... many of these palms are turning out to be great palms for southern California, so this book is especially useful to me. Written in half english, half french (each page is split down the middle with one side english, one side french) since French is the native language there. That fact never seems to get in the way, though. All palms listed alphabetically and have wonderful large photos to go with them. Very well done book and a must for all folks needing a complete palm book library, or growing palms in southern California (a bit less useful for east coast growers).
