This is an excellent field guide for those planning on visiting Ecuador, and highly affordable (just over $10). It has a nice color photo of every single species (at least one) and a precise location for them, to, if you want to go check out the local populations. However, if you are not interested in visiting Eucador, or have a fascination for palms in that area, it's probably not the book for you.
