This is a very thorough book that begins with no less than three chapters on containers types, creation and preparation. It takes the reader through all of the steps to make a topiary, identify and remove common container bugs, and grow just about any cultivar in a container.
In addition to discussing location, direction and issues that arise form that, the containers are discussed throughout a year so that you get an idea of what to do when and if you need to change anything.
There are no 'mystery plants' either. Each plant is described and identified. Not an ambitious book as far as the garden design is concerned but very well done.
