It is what it says, an A-Z of garden plants., but what I really like about it is that it has short, easy to read sections on culture, hardiness, pests and deseases, but most importantly , propogation.
There are plenty of photos in here for identification.
Another helpful idea is that in the appropriate places there are the common names ,or alternate names, which re-direct you to the correct (at that time! ) section.
A book I wouldn't be without, and spend a lot of time just browsing. it comes in handy when I'm checking out exchange lists, looking to see if they'd be suitable in my location. |
