Good reference for perennials. Color, flowering time, height, spacing, sun/shade needs, hardiness, propogation methods and rarity are given for over 3,000 plants. Although not heavy on pictures, the ones given clearly show a mature plant, not just the flower.

3,000 species, good pictures and plant information, includes some plants hard to find in other books. Includes ratings as to availability or rarity.
