I was lucky enough to visit this garden many years ago when Rosemary Verey was still alive (her house is now a hotel). This is a wonderful book for anyone interested in gardens. Inspirational, instructive and informative, it covers all the areas of her stunning garden. Highly recommended!
I was lucky enough to visit the Barnsley House's inspiring gardens on my recent trip to the Cotswolds. While drinking my tea at the house, I picked up a copy of Making of a Garden not knowing anything about it. I learned so much from this book! Couldn't wait to come home to read more.
