This is part of a series of books that deals with trees and shrubs. This book describes those grown primarily for their fragrance. Lots of excellent pictures but really just scratches the surface in regards to woody plants that have fragrant flowers. However, for the beginner gardener, it is overall a worthwhile book as the plants described are those that are fairly commonly available. It does offer hardiness zones and ultimate plant heights. I covers woody plants from cold area to the sub-tropics. There is some overlap between this book and 'Trees and Shrubs for Flowers' in the same series. I was rather surprised that the book also translates the latin names of the plant discribed.
