Considering the Cape's fantastic floral heritage, this is definitely not an exhaustive list of the native flora or even a drop in that ocean. It's a tourists' book, with notes and pictures of places to go and photos of some of the plants you may see in the wild there.
Even if you don't have the trip planned, it's still an interesting little book to see some plants that are unknown in the Northern Hemisphere. Just don't expect a lot of information, that isn't the intention of the book.
