Kennedy writes about gardening from his home on Denman Island in British Columbia. His writing is thoughtful and covers a wide range of topics in this book (chapters are Time, Weather, Soil, Water, etc.). I enjoyed reading about his home and the garden he has there the most, but his reflections on gardening and gardeners were also entertaining and thought provoking.
