A recent acquisition proves to be a very thorough reference on the means of "sowing and growing" successfully. Unfoprtunately, I had hoped it would cover a bit more on the harvesting seed from this wide variety of plants.

In addition to the reference on plants, it covers a wide range of practical information on the starting of seed. If I could wish for more, it would have also included the common name from the plants itemized in this delightful book. As a good reference material for any garden library, I will recommend it.

This book was a birthday present from a good friend. I have a Dutch translation of this handsome book with details from over 500 different species and how to start them from seed. She also gives basic information about seedsaving, how to store seeds, equipments, soil etcetera. I find it a very handy and beautifull illustrated complete book. I 'm very glad to have it.
