Container Gardening; Using Containers To Enhance Your Garden, great book, excellent pictures, but very vaugue. This book touches on all possible aspects of container gardening. And, with a book that touches on so many subjects, you can imagine it would be hard to find in depth information on a topic, without going elsewhere.
The book is in full color, with just a few drawn illustrations. They are bright, but nothing spectacular in terms of design or ideas, very simple. Every other page touches on a different subject, so, like I said, it can not go inot much detail. The book includes a Plant Directory in the back, full color photographs are accompanied by most of the plants listed. However, descriptions are vaugue and I would not suggest them to a newbie, as there could be a bit of dissapointment in their gardens. The book was intended for zones 5-9, which again is vaugue.
Nice pictures and ideas to touch on, but if you want detail, this may not be the book for you. Very general. I picked this book up in the Barnes & Noble Value Section.
