I have this book and refer to it often, as a rosarian newbie. I find it invaluable for its content and identification help. The Garden notes section I find particularly helpful. A wealth of information!
I have many rose encyclopedias, and this one is top-notch! It covers roses from the oldest Gallicas and Species roses to the newer Hybrid Teas, Floribundas, and Miniatures that were out when published.....very good range. It also has great photography, many times showing a picture of the entire rose bush, not just a close-up of one or two blooms. You can really get a sense of what the rose will look like in the garden from this book. Well worth having, I use mine often!
Excellent USEFUL book with great pictures. This is mostly an identification book that you can look up roses or find ones that are like ones you already have. Covers old world, David Austin, English, modern, minis, landscaping roses. Wonderful book.
