It takes you through the entire process of growing roses, propagating them, and getting them to the show in good shape. It gives some "trick's of the trade" so you can get your bloom to the show in pristine condition. It tells you about covering the bloom while it's still on the bush to protect it from weather, insects and too much sun, how to transport it to the show and much more. The only minor drawback is that it's a British book, so I'm not sure everything they say about showing would conform to ARS rules, but the information is still very good. |
