As said before, there is a lot missing. The pictures, however, are beautiful and will hopefully be of use in IDing plants (and for adding to my wish list!) Perhaps a good companion to the first.
Great photos... still way too many species not listed in either book, and photos are often too close up or of immature plants to be of any use... but a vast improvement over the first book. Hope it too comes out in paperback (will be a lot cheaper).
