Another fresh treatment by Sunset of what could be a tired and trite topic: in this instance, the backyard cottage otherwise known as the 'shed'.
Ms. Bix and her photographers undertook the challenge of showing us how this most unglamourous building could be magically transformed into a garden asset. And with lots of interesting examples for the ordinary gardener to study, (and, I guess, pirate some of the vignettes and techniques) this is an indispensible book for those looking for extra space for potting up and tools, guests, contemplation, or even hiding out.
I like this book and have loaned it to friends and referred to it many times myself.
